Love it! I got it to replace a side table that tipped over at times, when I was using it..partly because I have a shag rug in my living room & wanted a coffee table that was solid with sturdy legs. This coffee table is perfect. It’s sturdy & versatile. The lower shelf is great for my books & newspapers etc. Fits in with my mid century, eclectic furniture. Not sure how the finish will hold up. It was pretty difficult to assemble. The directions weren’t good. I was lucky to get good help assembling it..bottom line..it’s a great little coffee table! This "gray" version is pretty dark, pictures suggest a weathered oak look which I had hoped would match some of my other bogus wood furniture. Let's call this "oak that's been in a subway station for a year."The cheap paneling boards have very sharp edges unlike other faux finishes (Ikea, Target Mainstays) that have a slightly sanded feel. My daughter stepped on a corner during construction and it broke the skin, so that doesn't bode well. 43" TV really is pushing the limit here, the feet are getting quite close to the edge which may need to be addressed. Not a silver bullet for a TV stand, I wouldn't use for a coffee table because the edges are too sharp and cheap. Quality feels like it should be under $50.This was super easy to put together, had it done under 20 mins. Works perfectly for a TV stand. It's low and that is exactly why I chose it. Exceptional product for the price. I couldn't be happier!I like the appearance of the coffee table. Assembly was somewhat difficult as not all of the holes were drilled correctly and the metal hardware keeps falling off. It works in spite of this as long as one does not try to lift it by the top.I wanted to replace a big bulky stand. I wanted small, but big enough to place a few items. I love the color and I love the retro look. It gives my home a modern but retro look. The table does look pretty and it was easy to assemble but do not put any drinks on it without a coaster as it’s not real wood and the paint on the table can wear off. Also try to clean it with just a paper towel, don’t use any water products as it advances the paint wear off.OkA Very Nice cocktail table. This was very easy to put together. It took me about an hour or so, by myself. It looks a little small than I expected, but that is a separate issue. The table looks nice and the color is really neat. Thanks. After recently putting together an IKEA bed, assembling this seemed like child's play. We knew the precise size was fairly small, and that is why we made this purchase. Our old coffee table was a 'real' piece of wooden furniture with a glass top, but old and too large. This table is MDF but looks great and feels more than strong enough. I like the 'hiding' space for remotes etc. It could be purposed for different uses. It will meet our needs and I'm happy with it.I needed something I could use as a TV table/media unit that was wide enough to hold my consoles, but short enough to accommodate the TV and this god forsaken sloped roof. This little guy did not disappoint!Surprisingly sturdy for the cost, and the finish is solid, at least out of the box. Time will tell if it hold up over time, but unless you intend on hitting it with a metal spatula or throwing it around the living room, I don't expect it to have any issues. It has a simple, modern look and fits perfectly in my setup. Look at the measurements available on the product page and if it works for what you need, I don't think you can go wrong with this table. For full price, it's a rip off; you can find an IKEA piece for a much better price (maybe the BESTÅ). I bought this table in used condition, at a discounted price that made it marginally a better deal. The top was a bit scuffed and the legs didn't align perfectly, but I think that could have been because I bought it used. Overall, it looks clean & simple, and the storage holes are useful. Fits perfectly in my narrow living area, and I think it would look good as a TV stand (I have a centre base on my TV-- if you have the two stands that come with TVs nowadays, I don't think it would work for TVs bigger than 45") if I end up getting a new coffee table.Edit: I bought a new coffee table, so the old closetmaid table is now my TV stand. The center base was definitely a necessity, as my 50inch TV was too wide for this table with the side stands. My TV can't It almost looks like there is a little dip in the center where the TV is, but I'll observe over time. My TV weighs 10.5kg plus maybe ~5kg for the center base I bought separately, which should be under 25lbsGreat coffee table for the price. Fits perfect in a small space. Easy to assemble and very sturdy. Love it!One year after purchasing, the coffee table is flaking and chipping the laminate off the top. Too bad, as I liked the look and it was easy to put together. But having to replace a coffee table every year is really not ideal.
